The system is built around a progression of Stages that Policy Coverage options travel from the initial Lead, trough the Bid and Quote processes, to a Policy win, and beyond for managing ongoing Policy Renewals. The Coverage Stages are controlled and tracked through a series of VitalTasks which organize the core Agency processes of closing new business. VitalTasks are defined as 1) RFB (Request for Bid), 2) Quote, 3) Sales Order, and 4) Invoice. By processing Coverage options for an Account's Policy through the progression of VitalTasks the agency can collect Bids (Pricing and Terms) for Policy Coverages with the RFB VitalTask. Once the RFB is completed, Bid options are reviewed and approved to be included on a Quote VitalTask for Policy Coverage selection by the Account.
